Chambers, "Pat" Patricia Ellen (Dearth)

Patricia E. Chambers, 61, Manawa, passed away at Hospice at Cherry Meadows, Appleton, on March 25, 2010, after fighting a courageous battle of cancer. She was born September 30, 1948, in New London, the daughter of the late Raymond and Ellen (Wheeler) Dearth. On March 31, 1998, she married Alick A. "Al" Chambers at St. Paul's Church, Manawa. Pat was known for her love of family, friends, music, good food, great conversation and a glass of wine. She was known for her community involvement and her "green thumb".

She is survived by her husband, Al; her daughter, Courtney Jepson (Mike Behnke), Manawa. She is also survived by her husband's children: Chuck (Deb) Chambers, Scandinavia; Rick (Cindy) Chambers, Iola; Gayle (Tim) Drath, Manawa; Jim Chambers, Manawa; Kate Korb, Iola; Vicki Chambers, Ogdensburg; six step-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren. She is further survived by her siblings: Mike (Margie) Dearth, Fremont; Kathy (Willie) Hollander, Wausau; Mark (Mary) Dearth, Wausau; Debbie (Bob) Prahl, New London; Cindy (Mark) Snyder, Nekoosa; god-mother: Alice (Norby) Lawton, New London; 16 nieces and nephews; 13 great-nieces and nephews and other relatives. Many special friends, especially Joan Conroy, and Joyce Kosmerchock, Manawa; Judy (Joel) Edler, Iola; Jenna Krueger, Waupaca.

Preceding her in death were her parents and a dear friend, Dolly Hoffman.

Family and friends are invited to a memorial visitation celebrating Pat's life, which will be held at the Manawa Masonic Lodge, 520 North Bridge St., on Saturday, April 10, 2010, starting at 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. Food and refreshments will be served. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed in her name to the Waupaca Area Hospice Foundation, 710 Riverside Dr., Waupaca, WI, 54981 or the Humane Society of Waupaca, P.O. Box 145, Waupaca, WI, 54981.

The family of Pat would like to give thanks to nursing staffs at Regional Cancer Center, Wausau; Aspirus Hospital, Wausau, Waupaca County Hospice and Hospice at Cherry Meadows, Appleton. Special thank you to family and friends for their continued love and support throughout Pat's illness.
