We do recommend that you have your new pet and his/her health record examined by a veterinarian of your choice as soon as possible.

Humane Society staff and volunteers who work with the animals have gotten to know them during their stay with us and can give you information about their personalities and habits. Our Adoption Counselors and staff will assist you in selecting an animal who will fit into your family. We can provide you with a wealth of information on caring for your new pet. Just ask! That's what we're here for!

Please note: It is usually required that your application be pre-approved prior to meeting our dogs. This way, we can help determine which will be the best match for you, your family, and your lifestyle with the least amount of stress for everyone concerned. If we don't currently have any dogs that would make a good addition to your family, we can keep your application on file and call you if one comes in that's a good candidate!
