Adoptions

The continued health of our staff and residents is imperative since we have many animals to care for daily. Masks are not required at this time. If you prefer that staff wear masks during your visit, feel free to request it.

The building is open to the public, but adoptions will continue to be conducted by appointment to pre-approved adopters. We will be continuing the Foster-to-Adopt model for local adopters. If you are interested in adopting and/or fostering, please fill out and submit the application for the type of animal you are interested in and we will contact you!

What we are not:

A bargain basement place to adopt a pet.

A pet store.

Pet flippers or recyclers. (People who buy or pick up free animals to make a buck on them.)

A place to stop and grab a pet quick for a birthday party this afternoon.

What we ARE:

A humane facility that invests great amounts of money, time and other resources into their animals' health and well-being.

A great place to adopt because of the value built in to the adoption fees.

Caring professionals who will help you find THE RIGHT pet to complete your family.

Fostering:
Foster homes are for animals that are not yet available for adoption. They are often needed for animals requiring time to recuperate from illness or injury, for babies too young to spay/neuter, and for "retirement" homes for elderly animals.  If you are strictly interested in fostering, please fill out the Adoption Application and state that you want to Foster Only.
